These dedicated side mount valves have a longer post for looping the BCD Bungy around for tidy carrying of the cylinder.

The valve has a DOT approved burst disc assembly uses integrated-disc and plug design. Burst discs are a legal requirement for cylinders in New Zealand.
Nut on post can be removed if you wanted to add a manifold.
