Do you feel like a blue day or a red day?  Well you can pretty much have any colour day you want with the Teric, Just a few button presses and you can change the colour of the font to match your mood.

Next decision to make.  Shall I  Freedive, Scuba or use the rebreather today?  Well again it doesn't matter to the Teric as it can handle them all.

The Teric from Shearwater Research of Canada is an easy to use rechargeable dive computer.   

It can was designed to be a full technical dive computer with recreational divers and free divers in mind.

The Teric includes open-circuit and closed-circuit, Air, Nitrox and Trimix multi-gas functionality along with a three-axis tilt-compensated digital compass.

It has Recreational, Gauge, Free diving, Open-Circuit Tech and Closed-Circuit/Bail-Out modes.

The Teric has four buttons and incorporates situation adaptable logic menus to make operating and diving the Teric very intuitive. The Teric is also very configurable; for example you can set a button to give you a single press access to different tools like compass, stopwatch, countdown timer, etc.

There are haptic (vibration) and audible alarms that can be disabled (none, either, both) to prevent annoying other divers in the vicinity.  These are perfect for free diving as the vibration lets you know you are good to dive again.

The Teric offers an information screen utilizing a {1.39 in | 35 mm} full color AMOLED display with a { Diameter x Height | 55mm x 18mm } body and { 4.25 oz | 120.4 g } weight. Brightness levels are user adjustable and accessible with just one button press.

During a decompression dive, the Teric provides complete information displays of all required stop times. The Teric can provide time-to-surface based on "look ahead" at planned gas switches. Multiple gas definition presets are supported with any combination of oxygen, nitrogen and helium. The Teric will NOT "lockout" after a missed stop or ascent rate violation.

After the dive, the Teric communicates via Bluetooth to connect with the Shearwater Cloud dive log manager, which is compatible with MS Windows, OS X, iOS and Android devices, supporting wireless log downloads and firmware updates.

The Teric supports hoseless gas pressure integration, sometimes called air integration (AI). The Teric is capable of wirelessly connecting to either one or two optional transmitters giving the diver ability to monitor up to two tank pressures. It is also capable of calculating the Gas Time Remaining (GTR) on one assigned tank. Air integration is optional for all modes, from OC Rec to CC/BO. The tank pressure(s), in PSI or BAR, and GTR can be displayed to the customisable slots on the main display screen or accessed through the underlying information screens.

If using 2 transmitters at once, you should use a grey and a yellow transmitter as they send the radio signal at slightly different intervals to reduce interference.

The transmitter may be installed directly into the first stage or installed on a short HP hose if desired. Reminder that if you are planning to use the transmitter on a short HP hose then an AIR SPOOL IS REQUIRED.

Battery Life is 30 hours when diving, slightly less when using a transmitter.  As a watch you get 50 hours in between charges. 

To charge, simply put it on its charging dock, plug in the micro USB (you'll have these at home in a draw, the car or on the boat.  It also uses other wireless charging stations.

Warranty Info

Shearwater has a 2 year warranty on all products. The warranty lives with the unit, not with the original purchaser. This means that whether you buy your unit from our dealer network or second-hand the warranty will still be effective. Once the warranty period has passed computers should be serviced annually at your nearest service center.

It is unnecessary to register your unit upon purchase. Every Shearwater unit is tracked with a unique serial number.

SCREEN
The Teric screen is made of sapphire crystal which is one of the most scratch resistant material that can reasonably be used as a watch window. However, sharp impacts can still result in scratches. In particular, chrome plating has very high hardness and may scratch the Teric window.

If you are concerned with scratching the Teric window, we suggest using a screen protector. Exceptional impacts may still damage the window even with a protector fitted.
