The original neutrally buoyant wetsuit system, Thermocline is lightweight, machine washable and equivalent to a 2mm neoprene wetsuit, without the wetsuit, making in perfect for those allergic to neoprene. Now, made using recycled ‘Ghost’ fishing nets, Thermocline is part of our OceanPositive collection.

These are a fantastic alternative to neoprene socks. With flat lock stitching and fleece lined fabric, they are ideal under neoprene boots. Thermocline socks help to keep the feet warmer and assist with the donning of a wetsuit by providing a low friction contact between the feet and the inside of the wetsuit.

We make sure we take them when we head to the tropics to prevent any open sores on our heels.

Doing multiple dives per day for a week or 2 can cause rubbing between your fin, your boot and your heel which may result in an open wound.  This in hot humid conditions will struggle to heal and can become infected, which will be unpleasant and may cause you to miss out on diving.
