Mares PURE BCD, quickly becoming a firm favourite in store.

As with the Mares range, they are a very good looking product.  It is also a comfortable BCD to don, with it's swivel shoulder buckles and special shoulder pads which are longer than standard,  pre-shaped and reinforced, and which work in perfect unison with the lumbar suspension system.

This suspension system is inspired by the design of modern hiking backpacks; the system avoids direct contact between the body and the tank support. 

Made of very tough 420 Cordura material, the Pure is hardwearing and resistant to tears.

The colour coding on the SLS weight pockets make it really easy on the buddy check to see if your buddies weights have been correctly inserted.

We still love the whistle that is part of the sternum strap.  What a great feature.

Mares Pure BCD Purcahse

I made my purchase online for a Mares Pure BCD, however I was contacted by the Dive Gear Team as they had depleted their stock of these units, but they would like to upgrade my purchase for the equivalent of my orignal purchase to a Mares Bolt BCD. They took the time to explain to me that their recommended replacement was the upgraded version of my original purchase request and put me at ease with their professional knowledge and recommendations. I really do find buying online very difficult when these kinds of situations occur, but Dive Gear online give you complete confidence in making purchases via this medium. As for the BCD I now have, it was shipped and arrived the next day from Whangarei to Hastings, and is indeed the upgraded version of what I was orignally going to buy. So thank you Dive Gear Team, in particular Jamie because if you have questions for the team they will respond to you in good time if not immediately, and they will find a solution for you. Finally, in this purchase I also found a BCD online that was on special and Dive Gear honoured their lowest price guarantee, without question after viewing the URL.
