Suunto Cobra 3 Dive Computer

Are you after a computer option that is attached to your regs so that you don't lose it and isn't on your wrist so you do risk damaging it on a rock if your hand is going into a hole?  Well Suunto has a little gem that is perfect for you.

The Cobra3  is attached to your HP hose instead of you SPG, giving you a digital and more accurate measurement of the gas you have in your tank, plus it can calculate how long the tank will last in minutes using information measured over the last couple of minutes of your dive.  This makes it easier for you to make in water decisions like whether to go shallower, turn around and start heading back to the boat etc.

It also has a good digital compass that will help you get back to the boat or beach easier - Perfect.

ADVANCED CONSOLE-MOUNTED DIVE COMPUTER WITH AIR-INTEGRATION

Suunto Cobra3 is an easy to use, easy to read, all-in-one console-mounted dive computer.

It features a clear and easy to use digital air-integration, an electronic 3D compass, an easy-to-read matrix display, and simplified four-button operation.  This will need calibrating out of the box.

Has a quick release mechanism option so you can disconnect your computer easily from your regulators.   The regulators must not be under pressure for the computer to be removed or replaced onto the fitting.

How to change the battery.

In this video there is a part missing, a small plastic bar that goes across the battery.  You can see the space where it should be in the video from 1:31.

To change the battery you will need a cross head screw driver, a set of narrow prongs  and a tidy space to work.
